Dr. Torres-Gorena's Care Philosophy

Background
Dr. Torres-Gorena earned her dental degree in Bolivia, her home country. After moving to the United States, she completed a Master’s degree and a clinical certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Indiana University in 2008. She also completed a post-graduate fellowship in Craniofacial and Surgical Orthodontics at Indiana University and Riley Hospital for Children.
After graduation, Dr. Torres-Gorena accepted a teaching position at the Indiana University Orthodontic Program. In 2011, Dr Torres-Gorena became board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, as a demonstration of her own pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.
In 2013, Dr. Torres-Gorena relocated to Crystal Lake to continue her passion for patient care in orthodontics. When not at work, Dr. Torres-Gorena loves to go camping, watch a good movie, or take a long walk downtown.
