Dr. Darin's Care Philosophy
“As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Darin believes in servicing dental knowledge, cavity-prevention tools, and providing individualized care for patients.”
Background
Dr. Darin grew up in the Chicago suburbs of Morton Grove, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in both Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Biotechnology and Chemical Sciences from Roosevelt University. After graduation, Dr. Darin worked in cancer research at NorthShore University HealthSystems and entered dental school at A.T. Still University in Arizona. She was awarded the Morrie Reisbek Research Award, a scholarship award from the Women for ATSU Scholars program, and the ASDOH student research travel award. She also has a passion for community outreach and participated in a global dental outreach trip to Atoyac, Mexico. Dr. Darin then went on to complete a one-year General Practice residency program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a two-year Pediatric residency program at the University of Texas-Houston.
Dr. Darin is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Darin enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She enjoys finding new kid-friendly restaurants, new parks and activities around the area, and practicing new quick and easy recipes.
